BILLABONG PIPE MASTERS OFF TODAY, SWELL ON THE WAY...
Contest organizers are holding out for a new swell that is headed towards the Hawaiian Islands tonight. Tomorrow should hopefully see solid surf for the final day of the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing / Billabong Pipeline Masters. Check back for status updates as a new Billabong Pipe Master and Vans Triple Crown Champion will soon be crowned!

I can't believe it's almost over, The Triple Crown of Surfing for 2009. May I give a big shout out to the people of Hawaii, especially those who live near or along the North Shore of O'ahu. What a gift you give to us with your gorgeous venue, a feast for the senses and a real blessing to allow these spectacular events to be held every year. And to the ASP, Vans, Rockstar, O'Neill, Reef, Billabong and Gidget; another Mahalo and this one from the heart! You make fantastic products and with your innovative marketing and presentation and $1 Million dollar contest, we consumers are pumped and will keep on supporting you as you do the world of professional surfing.
